Canadian Film Day
Cinefranco is thrilled to celebrate International Canadian Film Day on April 19, 2023 with Mark Tawil’s stunning documentary Our Back Lane. Mr. Tawil will be joining us for a screening of the film in Room 9 of the Cineplex Yonge-Eglinton at 7pm — admission is free! You won’t want to miss this Canadian cinematic treat.
Our Back Lane won the Best Medium Length Film Award at the Lebanon International Film Festival.
Children tell the story of how they organize themselves during the pandemic that hit their neighborhood.
We come out of this film touched and amazed by the emotional intelligence of these children captured by a perceptive and sensitive director.
