The Little Gang

Summertime. In a beautiful village in Corsica, five young schoolmates are facing a dilemma: what to do about a local factory that has been polluting their favourite river? Desperate times call for desperate measures and they decide to take radical direct action. But the adventure doesn’t go exactly as planned…

Reviews

The Little Gang is a delightful film which will cast its spell over all kinds of audiences. A classic children’s adventure story (featuring cabins, binoculars, kayaks, bikes, friendship, tricky or secret romances, etc.), a fun comedy bursting with brilliant, a transposition of the fairy-tale world (featuring an evil, polluting monster whose fortress is stormed by knights) and a universal film which channels the many positive values emanating from a desire to be together, not to mention a dual ecological dimension (fighting back against industrial damage and being immersed in the wilds of nature), Pierre Salvadori’s new film is wonderfully refreshing, as if exuding a simple desire to be happy.

Baptiste Dion — Le Journal du dimanche

In this family film much more serious and impertinent than it seems, all the darkness of the author of The Apprentices is here revived without being mitigated for the young audience.

Ludovic Béot — Les Inrockuptibles
